From Canyon Construction to Solar CCS
Solar CCS was born from Canyon Construction Services — a family-owned construction company with over 30 years of experience in electrical and general contracting across Southern California.
Operating under Pacific Canyon Group Inc (License #983330, B-General Contractor), we bring decades of hands-on construction expertise to every solar installation. We handle solar and battery installations directly, and when a project calls for specialized trades, we bring in trusted partners and supervise every step. Because we work primarily in SCE territory, every system we design is optimized for NEM 3.0 rate structures and Title 24 energy code compliance.
When the federal residential solar tax credit (Section 25D) was eliminated at the end of 2025, we adapted fast. SolarCCS now offers prepaid PPA financing through Maxwell Power, where a third-party owner captures the §48E clean electricity tax credit and passes the savings to homeowners as a 17-30% upfront discount. We also design and install commercial solar systems qualifying for up to 50% in combined federal incentives through §48E, domestic content, and energy community bonuses.
We intentionally limit the number of projects we take on each quarter. That means every homeowner and business owner gets personalized attention, expert craftsmanship, and a system designed to perform for decades — not a cookie-cutter installation rushed out the door.
